This month's staff spotlight is on Jenell Newman. Mrs. Newman is originally from Alva and went to college at Northwest Oklahoma State University.

She has been at Burlington Schools for 15 years and has been teaching for 20 years. Mrs. Newman has taught Pre-K, second, third and fourth grade. Prior to coming to Burlington, Mrs. Newman taught at Mooreland and Hinton.

Mrs. Newman's favorite thing about Burlington is how small the school is and that it is like a family. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing a student succeed.
