The bathrooms have to go!

Equipment and supplies intermingle with student backpacks, Christmas signs and homecoming decorations at Burlington School during the December restroom renovations.

During the second nine weeks, Burlington Schools began to renovate the restrooms for the junior high and high school students. With homecoming and Christmas festivities, it has definitely added to the craziness at school.

The school was built in 1963, so it is believed that the existing facilities are around 60 years old. According to the high school principal, Gerrett Spears, "This is something that needs to be done. Oklahoma was awarded federal relief dollars to support students through fall 2024."

Burlington chose to use the money to upgrade the restrooms to be more sanitary. During th...
