Shortly after my 24th birthday, I moved to Memphis, Tennessee, to further my education at what is now the University of Memphis but was then known as Memphis State University.

I lived in that town of more than 600,000 souls for four years. Memphis State was (and is) an excellent university, and I learned much studying there. I also learned that I did not like living in a large city!

Soon after moving to Memphis, I found myself a regular doctor and went to his office most of the times I needed any sort of medical attention.
