I penned an article on green burial on April 8, hoping to establish a conservation cemetery block in Alva Municipal. You may recall that the interment is free of embalming fluid, casket, vault, or synthetic fibers. The body is lowered into the ground in a biodegradable shroud and allowed to decay. “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.”
