Last Friday afternoon, South Barber USD255 math teacher Paul Wanger was reportedly escorted out of the junior/senior high school building by Principal Brent Shaffer.

Barber County Kansas Sheriff Jason LeClair said, “On Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, following an investigation by our office reference a complaint that was filed against Mr. Wanger, four counts of misdemeanor battery were the results of that investigation. The investigation is ongoing. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
