This year Burlington High School made some changes in its cheer program. With a smaller number of high school and junior high cheerleaders, they decided to combine both teams. Brook Keast is the new cheer sponsor this year and has added many new cheers to help accelerate the school spirit during games and pep rallies.
Before basketball season started, the team had practices three days a week, focusing on getting into shape, basic movements/motions, and projecting their voices. They plan to increase their participation with tryouts this spring and attending camps over the summer.
