Northwestern falls in final minute vs Southwestern

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State fell in a close thrilling matchup Monday evening to rival Southwestern Oklahoma State 74-71. The game featured 14 ties and 11 lead changes in the loss. Southwestern used a 6-0 run to take a 68-62 lead in which they would not lose before closing out the 74-71 loss for Northwestern.

First Half

Malik Parsons started the scoring in the game with a jumper to take a 2-0 lead. Southwestern responded with a 6-0 run to take their first lead of the game. Free silenced the Bulldogs’ run with a three to cut the deficit to 6-5. The game was later tied 10-10...
