The Alva Ladybugs traveled to Red Rock to take on the Class A Frontier Lady Mustangs Friday night. The Lady Mustangs had only seven players suited up for the game, and their leading scorer Jamie Molina was wearing a knee brace. The Frontier players may have been few, but they were scrappy, giving the Ladybugs plenty to handle.
The score was close in the first half with the Alva girls managing a one point lead after one quarter. The Ladybugs led by two at halftime 19-17. In the third quarter, Carly Argo and Jaycee Kelln combined for 17 points to give Alva a 12 point margin. The Ladybugs fini...
