At some time in high school, I remember learning about Robert’s Rules of Order. I don’t remember if it was in a social studies class or an English class, but I do remember wondering if I would ever have a need for the information.

First published in 1876, Robert’s Rules of Order still are used in running meetings from legislative chambers to corporate conference rooms. Members of the original author’s family continue to be involved in updates to the rules.
