The Burlington Lady Elks basketball team has eight members, including four seniors, Ashlynn Paschall, Brooke Whittet, Hallie Hamiliton and Jaedyn Williams. The other team members are Mylee Sims, Kaycee Matzke, Chloe Jantz and Tamiya Evans.
This year, the team played 27 games, including tournaments and districts. The girls advanced to regionals with their first game on Thursday, Feb. 16.
The people who helped them this year are Coach Margo Hamilton, Savannah Granados, the team managers, and a big crowd of supporting fans. The team worked very hard all season and gave up a lot of time to wo...
