Kiowa City Council renews Administrator Demel's contract for two years

At the Kiowa City Council's Feb. 13 meeting, the council held a 15-minute executive session at the end of the two hour meeting. Upon return to open session the council voted unanimously to renew the contract of City Administrator Sam Demel for two years.
As reported in the Newgram last week a good portion of the meeting was Jeff Bryan addressing the council and answering questions about the Clean-up Kiowa project.
The agenda addressed city rates/fees ordinances. The council has discussed this subject for months.
