Rangers hit six home runs in win over the Hornets

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State closed out a 6-3 victory over Emporia State Tuesday afternoon behind six solo home runs including two from Harley Shaffer. Rangers hit three in the third inning to take a 4-1 lead that Northwestern held the rest of the game.
The Rangers now improve to 6-0 at home this season and 7-5 overall on the year with a 1-2 record in conference play.
Brandon Holdren and Harley Shaffer led the Rangers with two hits. H. Shaffer led the team with two RBI's followed by five others tied with one.
