Monday's Alfalfa County commissioners meeting was brief; Nate Ross, Mike Roach and Garret Johnson got down to business, taking care of the previous meeting minutes, payroll warrants, maintenance and operation payment warrants, and blanket purchase orders.

After they approved the mounds of paperwork, they each opened bids for the half-ton, four-wheel-drive pickup to be used in Ross' District 3.
