Waynoka receives $999,949 grant for water system improvements

 


The City of Waynoka (City) received approval for $999,949 in funding Tuesday from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) to improve the City’s water infrastructure. Construction of upgrades and improvements to the water system will be financed by the Oklahoma American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program.

The city will utilize the proceeds to install water lines in under-served areas of Waynoka and to replace old water lines with new water lines.
