Several volunteers have made this effort blossom and the project now includes over 12 raised beds plus other facilities, water and fencing. These projects and each raised bed have been sponsored by various businesses and individuals throughout Alva.

OSU Family & Consumer Sciences Educator, Susan Holliday, is an active member of the committee and will be leading the tour along with David Hillock. The Community Garden is located on the west side of the Homestead and can be accessed from 11th Street by turning onto Canyon Street.

The program is free and open to the public. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
