The Little Red Hens February meeting

 

The Little Red Hens Women's Club was recently presented with a $1,500 local community grant from Walmart. The Little Red Hens met for their regular meeting on Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northwest Technology Center in the multi-purpose room.

President Dawn Shafer called the meeting to order, welcomed everyone and thanked all of the committee leads and their committees for working so hard to get all dates and locations for 2023 set.

"You're a Gem" community winners were presented with a card, candy box and a free chili supper ticket. Winners were: Individual – Katie Franta, Business – G&G Furniture and Service and The Alva Sanitation Department. The group thanks the winners for all that they do.
