The no people came out in droves to soundly defeat recreational marijuana being legalized. I actually thought it would pass by the margin it was defeated by. Probably a lot of the no votes came from mid-level drug dealers worrying about a future as a fry cook if it passed. There is already talk of bringing the vote back. I think the court system stalling the vote to an off time did not help the cause. Maybe next time politics won't enter into the voting so much. I could not find figures, but the no vote was over 70% in both Woods and Alfalfa counties.
