2023 Great American Conference track & field preseason poll announced

ALVA, Okla. – The Great American Conference released their annual 2023 preseason poll rankings that are voted on by the conference coaches. Northwestern Oklahoma State Track & Field was picked sixth in the conference.
Northwestern will be led by Head Coach Jill Lancaster and assisted by Sterlin Broomfield, and Derrick Young.
In first place voted by the coaches was a tie with first place votes and total points was Harding University, and Oklahoma Baptist with 77 points and five first place votes. Rounding out the top three in third place is Southern Arkansas earning 63 points.
