Lady Rangers drop series opener as comeback bid falls short

ALVA, Okla. – The Ranger Softball team opened a three game home series Friday against the Crimson Storm looking to extend their two-game win streak. Southern Nazarene used a three-run sixth inning to seal their 8-5 victory over the Rangers.

Hannah Howell led the Rangers with two hits and two-RBIs in the loss. She was one of two players with two hits along with Laney Anderson and Avery Clark. Ireland Caro started for the Rangers before Allie Hufford and Kameron Ryer closed the game off.
