The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry recently announced its winners for the Oklahoma Poem Contest, an annual contest for all ages from kindergarten and up. Longfellow Elementary School student Vivian Williams won second place in the K-through-fourth-grade category. She received a cash prize of $50, a medal and was honored at Wonder City Wordfest in Locust Grove on April 15. Wordfest is an annual festival at the museum that celebrates the power of poetry in every person's life.
