Alva man charged in hit and run

An Alva man has been charged in a hit-and-run incident after a witness contacted police. According to court documents, on April 11 about 12:50 a.m. Alva Police Officer Caleb McCullough was dispatched to the 1300 block of Mill Street for a hit and run.
He arrived and met Rodney Welsh who said Nathan Ross was driving a Dodge truck, hit a parked car and drove off. Welsh said he got in his car and followed Ross to his house on Lane Boulevard where he saw Ross go inside.
McCullough went to Lane Boulevard where he found a maroon 2003 Dodge 1500 parked outside Ross’s house. He observed the truck...
