On April 24, Dacoma Co-op Manager Jake Kelln told the Newsgram, "I just saw a raindrop on my windshield. I think the last time I saw a raindrop was early February."

Wheat crops in the Newsgram reading area of northwest Oklahoma and south-central Kansas have suffered in drought conditions since early last fall and this spring.
