My apologies to Woods County

If I had known all I had to do to get it to rain was to bring in the car crusher, I would have had them here long ago. It was a very good rain and didn't all fall in just a little bit. I'm afraid it is too late for the wheat crop, but it will help the hungry cows and the lawn service guys with new grass.

May 5-6 is the 2nd Annual Cars, Concert, and BBQ contests sponsored by the Alva Police Department. It is a fundraiser for new equipment. There are lots of things to do, good food and activities for everyone. A mini cruise and car show?...
