Driver injured in Alfalfa County wreck

An attempt to pass led to a collision with injuries Thursday, April 27, in Alfalfa County. The wreck occurred about 2:45 p.m. on US-64 270 feet west of the intersection with OK-8. The location is two miles north of Cherokee.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Brock Thomas White, 29, of Earlville, Iowa, was driving westbound on US-64 in a 2018 Ram 3500 pickup pulling a 25 foot stock trailer loaded with one horse. Marty Allen Crowl, 63, of Hockley, Texas, was following in a 2014 Toyota RAV4.
