It was a typically hot Sunday afternoon graduation at South Barber High School in Kiowa, Kansas. That didn't stop the families and friends of the 10 graduates of the Class of 2023 to come watch the seniors receive their diplomas.
Superintendent Dr. Mylo Miller welcomed all. He said the Class of 2023 is in one of three school districts out of 281 to receive six banners of academic excellence from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE.)
