With District 1 Commissioner David Hamil recovering from surgery, First Lieutenant Jason Perks took his place at the Woods County Commissioners meeting Monday morning. Also present were commissioners John Smiley and Randy McMurphy along with County Clerk Shelley Reed.
The commissioners welcomed representatives of the Woods County OHCE (Oklahoma Health and Community Education) to the meeting for a proclamation of OHCE Week. They told the commissioners about recent activities including filling the Blessing Boxes, a community-wide cleanup and an etiquette class for youngsters.
