South Barber tennis singles player Xander Myers, a junior, is returning to state tennis. Xander finished fifth at the Conway Springs Regional Friday. This qualified him for the state Class 1A-3A tournament in Wichita at the Wichita-Riverside Tennis Complex this Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13.

SB Boys Tennis Coach Danielle Jewell said Myers goes to state this year with a third-place finish at League and a fifth-place finish at Regionals. He was a state qualifier as a sophomore and as a freshman lost a state qualifying match at regionals.
