On an evening in June 2016 my wife and I drove to Oklahoma City to see Gordon Lightfoot in concert at Rose State College.
She was almost – but not quite – as excited as I was because she, too, had been a Lightfoot fan for several years and kept some of his CDs in her car.
The concert venue was really nice, rather small and intimate with perhaps a thousand people in attendance. It was an auditorium where the college’s drama department performed plays. We had good seats.
