Fatal collision in Beaver County

A man from Beaver died when the ATV he was driving collided with another vehicle Wednesday. Cody L. Frantz, 25, of Beaver, was pronounced dead at the scene from massive head, facial and chest trauma by the Beaver EMS.
An ATV passenger, Cole J. Cathcart, 21, of Stillwater, was transported by POV to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas, where he was treated for broken ribs and released.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 7:01 p.m. on Aug. 2 on OK-3 near Hollow N1330, approximately 13 miles southwest of Beaver.
