Northwest Technology Center students from the Practical Nursing Program were given the opportunity to be student camp nurses at FFA Alumni Leadership Camp during July. The students, Laney Neal, Kristin Knierim, Phinn Scott and Natalie Morrill were under the instruction of Tara Thomas, Practical Nursing Director at Northwest Tecgnology Center.
"Campers basically came to the camp nurses if they had twisted their ankle or had a belly ache. For a lot of the campers who were away from home, it was for emotional support," said Knierim.
