South Barber teachers to see $1400 pay increase on base

Mental health liaisons explain their team intervention program

Just three days before students report to classes for the start of the 2023-24 school year, the South Barber Board of Education met for their regular August meeting Monday night. President Mark Pollock called the meeting to order with all members present except one – Jenna Mostert was absent. Members present included: Bryan Quick, Deb Helfrich, Mike Miller, Karen Watts and Emily Lohmann. Superintendent Dr. Mylo Miller and Board Clerk Alyssa Gonzales also sat at the board table. Elementary Principal Kaynette Scheck and K-12 Principal Steve Neal attended to give their reports.
