Alva community members gathered Friday for the monthly coffee hosted by the Alva Chamber of Commerce. A standing-room-only crowd met in a basement classroom at Share Medical Center where they were treated to a breakfast buffet.
Share Medical Update
The meeting opened with an update on Share Medical Center by CEO Kandice Allen. She said the hospital upgraded their EHR (electronic health records) to Expanse recently. "The work that goes into that is laborious," she said. "It's no secret we've struggled with our billing. That's why we upgraded."
