Men's cross country open season with first place finish

LAWTON, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Cross Country opened the season extremely well on Friday morning. The Rangers placed first overall in the meet as Christian Franklin won the meet individually. Northwestern finished with four top 10 finishes, in Franklin, Salat Ibrahim, Edward Robledo-Gonzalez and Zachary Cox.

“The men ran lights out! Christian Franklin set the school record with a time of 25:17 and won the meet overall. The men also won the meet as a team. We placed four guys in the top 10,” said Coach Sterlin Broomfield.
