Memorial graveside services for LaJeana Williams will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Thure Tolsen officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka.

LaJeana Louise, daughter of the late Don Hodges and Ava Carol (Haltom) Zook, was born February 13, 1957, at Amarillo, Texas, and passed away February 15, 2024, at Alva, at the age of 67 years and 2 days.

LaJeana graduated high school in Texas. She married Charles Williams and together they had two daughters, Misty and Amber. She attended the Life Speak Church in Waynoka while she lived there. She had a flower shop for many years and still enjoyed making flower arrangements. She later became an E.M.T. serving the Waynoka area. LaJeana enjoyed traveling, snow skiing, going to concerts and reading her Bible.

Besides her parents, Don Hodges and Ava Zook, she was preceded in death by her children's father, Charles Williams, and longtime companion, Dan Melton.

She is survived by her daughters, Misty Smiley of Waynoka, and Amber Adams and husband Michael Goff of Canton; her sister, Donna Hodges-LaTiara V. Adams of Alva; four grandchildren, Landon Williams, Nicole Foxworthy, and Brock Adams, all of Canton, and Kile Smiley of Waynoka; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka E.M.T. Chapter.
