Biden aims to court Latino voters and secure his standing in Nevada and Arizona on Sun Belt swing

RENO, Nev. (AP) — President Joe Biden on Tuesday opened a three-day campaign swing in the Sun Belt geared largely toward courting the Latino voters who helped power his coalition in 2020.

The Democratic president will stop in Nevada, Arizona and Texas. He arrived in Reno, Nevada, on Tuesday, coinciding with the launch of Latinos con Biden-Harris (Spanish for Latinos with Biden-Harris). Campaign ads ran in English, in Spanish and in Spanglish, a blend of the two, as did two Spanish-language radio interviews with the president.
