"Thank you for allowing me to serve two more years. I am blessed to serve northwest Oklahoma," said Rep. Carl Newton on Friday morning. Referring to the recent primary election, he was speaking at the Alva Chamber Community Coffee.
Newton followed Peyton Burns, representative of U.S. Senator James Lankford, who spoke about politics in Washington, D.C. during this election year.
