Local student chosen to represent Oklahoma Moose International Youth Awareness Congress

Kayla Leeper, a sophomore from Alva High School was selected by a group of her peers to represent Oklahoma Moose International Youth Awareness Congress in Roanoke, Virginia, this summer.

Each year, local Moose Lodge representatives select high school students based on academic achievement and leadership to attend the State Association Youth Awareness Congress. The student is asked to present three, "Kid Talk Programs," to children ages four years old to ten years old to compete for this honor.
