Chris Olson of the Woods County Equalization Board is unhappy with the lack of information provided by an oil and gas company to support their claim that their assessed valuation should be $70 million rather than the $137 million assigned by Woods County Assessor Renetta Benson. He also believes the period for the counties to handle tax protests, from April through July, is too short.
