AMS student part of championship team

Former Alva Middle School student Daniel Hicks played for the Fulton Missouri Cardinals for the second year running and their second consecutive championship. Here, Hicks holds the championship plaque after being celebrated by his team for making the first hit of the championship game and hitting in the two winning runs. Hicks recently attended the Kansas City Chiefs training camp and youth sports day in St. Joseph, Missouri. He will be transferring from Alva to Fulton, Missouri, where he will play football and baseball for the Fulton Falcons. Hicks is the great-grandson of Don Lynch, Alva.
