South Barber has good audit, new daycare director, revenue-neutral budget

South Barber USD #255's new daycare director, Pamela Sweeney, was introduced to the school board at their regular August meeting Monday night. The public hearing for the school's proposed 2024-2025 budget started at 5:45 p.m., before the 6 o'clock meeting. The board conducted a short amount of business before embarking on an in-depth tour of the high school and then elementary school that lasted just shy of three hours. After returning to the central office, the board conducted the remaining business on the agenda before adjourning about 10 p.m.
