South Barber Board approves new near $400,000 HVAC unit for elementary building

"From the very beginning we've had trouble with it," South Barber School President Mark Pollock said of the heating/cooling system at the elementary building.

Teachers and students alike complained they were either freezing or suffocating in their rooms. There was no way to control the temperature in individual rooms.
