The local Northwest Oklahoma Genealogy Society (NWOGS) will be hosting Dr. Molly Barari again on Saturday, Oct. 12, at their monthly meeting. Barari holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and an EdD in Adult Education from the University of South Dakota.
This month’s workshop, “A Glimpse into Family History Writing,” will be held at the Alva Public Library starting at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend. Dr. Barari presented “Heirlooms: Obituary Writing,” back in March, and it was very well received by all those who attended.
