It may have been the 150th Run for the Roses at Churchhill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, last May, but the event was a spectacular first in Kiowa, Kansas, in September. As the stick horses crossed the finish line in Kiowa's Kentucky Derby, the big winner was the Friends of the Kiowa District Hospital/Healthcare and the Friends of the KDH Hospital Manor Foundation.
