Six 4-H students and their educators visited the Alfalfa County commissioners Monday morning for the proclamation of National 4-H Week. Kord Campbell, the group's president, read the proclamation and, after, commissioners Garret Johnson, Mike Roach and Nate Ross signed to designate Oct. 6-12 as 4-H Week in Alfalfa County.
Each student introduced themselves and told what 4-H meant to them, resulting in proud smiles from their educators, Megan Ferrell and Erin Metcalf, and the commissioners. After the students left, the three men agreed that Ferrell and Metcalf had an impressive group of student...
