The Doug Moss Family traveled 1,300 miles from Irvine, California, to Ranger Field to claim the award for traveling the furthest distance to the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Family Day events. They are the family of Beck Moss, a senior health and sports science education major.
Students and their families were able to "Shop for Tuition" all week by visiting several Alva merchants to register for a $500, $300 or $200 tuition giveaway from the Northwestern Foundation.
