A gentle breeze was blowing on Oct. 3 as friends and family gathered to dedicate a portion of US-281 at the Greensburg Corner to the late Judge Dean Linder.
The process to dedicate the road was begun by former Oklahoma State Representative Jeff Hickman to commemorate the many years of service that Judge Linder had provided to Woods County as judge, community leader and sportscaster.
Four generations of the Linder family were present as well as community leaders and Rep. Dr. Carl Newton, who had expedited the memorial that was approved by the Oklahoma Legislature this year.
