Alva Airport Commission discusses clearing debris from air traffic surfaces

• Preliminary work for new hangar project approved

Having recently paid around $500 to have his aircraft paint touched up, local pilot John Wiebener asked to be on the airport agenda. He’s experienced more rocks kicked up from taxiways here than anywhere else.

The Alva Airport Commission met Monday evening with members Dale Logsdon, Terry Cline and Mayor Kelly Parker present. Also at the meeting were City Business Manager Stephen Ford and Airport Manager Derrick Courson.
