As a preface to today’s article, I think it’s important to note that I generally try to stay away from politics in my writing, so I don’t broach this topic lightly. I also try to have an optimistic, feel-good aspect to my articles, but for some of you, today’s article may seem anything but light-hearted or optimistic.
