Kiowa's CROP Hunger Walk raises over $2,000

• $500 goes to South Barber Ministerial Food Bank

That's what about 40 walkers did on a sunny October afternoon in Kiowa, Kansas. There were seasoned adults, middle-aged individuals, young adults, teens, little kids and a few pets who made the 2.3 mile route that passed by all seven churches in Kiowa.

The CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a yearly gathering. It's a movement that's 55 years strong, made up of compassionate people in more than 500 communities across the U.S. The funds raised together help people around the world to not be hungry and learn to help themselves.
