Waynoka man charged with possession of child porn

A Waynoka man has been charged after law enforcement followed up on a cyber tip.

Court documents filed by District Attorney’s Investigator Steve Tanio show he was assigned a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) Cybertip file. Dropbox Inc. reported the uploading to a customer’s account of an image/video-clip that appeared to depict child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Dropbox is a file hosting service operated by a company headquartered in California that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud and client software.
